I promised Melisande that if/when she was asked to join the order of the Laurel, I would make her a little Melisande doll. Well that day has come, and here is the doll. She is dressed as Melisande will be for her laureling, and holding symbols of each of her arts. She's being recognized for her cooking and embroidery.
Nearly everything was hand-sewn. I did the embroidery myself as well which you can see more detail of in the next deviation I'm going to post. |
